Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice or Microsoft Word file format.
  • Where available, DOIs and/or URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The submission is your own work and all material taken from other sources is appropriately attributed.

Author Guidelines

Authors should follow the guidelines outlined in the submission template provided here in Word and PDF formats. If at all possible, we recommend that you copy and paste your text directly into the Word version of the template using the styles that are already available in the document. That way, the paper will already be formatted according to our specifications for you. You can view the individual styles by opening the styles pane in the Word document.

The submission template is designed to account for all components of submissions that are within the scope of this journal. However, if you have any questions about the template or need any assistance fitting your submission into it, please contact the editors.
